Let’s end the MiniFest with a wholesome dinner!

Food is joy and nourishment, what’s more it brings people together. Nature has been relentlessly providing and nourishing our body, mind and soul. With gratitude and appreciation at heart, I’d like to remind us all of the abundance and sacrifice of nature, rediscover the wholesomeness and diversity of foods that grow from soil and reconnect with nature.

Incorporating more plant foods in our diet is essential to keep us in harmony with our body, the environment and other forms of beings who share this beautiful planet with us. The plant eating game will only become so much more exciting and fun if we can make wraps, nourish bowls, dips, spreads, soup, smoothies and more with humble whole grains, beans, legumes, nuts, seeds, fruits, vegetables, mushrooms and what have you!

How does eating the rainbow and savoring the rawness and pureness of natural goodness sound to you? Sounds “too healthy”/ interesting/ yum? Welcome to the plant eating club! I hope you’d indulge yourselves in the wholeheartedly prepared nourish bowl, summer rolls and earthy soup with artisanal bread amongst all other activities in this minifest! Not only that, I’m going to show you how to make three delicious dressing/ sauces as time efficient as 15 minutes in case you’d like to spice up your own plant eating game!

About Me (Susannah Lee)

Freedom is my biggest value in life. I had been selfishly pursuing my own freedom for 23 years until last year I came to the realization that, as much as I honor freedom, I should as well respect the freedom of all earthlings (all forms of living beings) who have the capacity to experience freedom. A life is not worth living if it’s a freedom-deprived one. Before long, I’ve gone vegan. Ever since I made the decision, I’ve felt more whole and complete as a person. Finally, my actions align with my values and I no longer necessarily live in falsehood and self importance. I’ve seen a new light in my life.

This journey has led me to find my passion and purpose in life. Best thing of all, they are intertwined. Abolishing animal products altogether means opening new doors for me to embrace foods that only grow from soil. My love for “down to earth” foods has since bloomed while I was doing extensive research on plant-based eating in relation to holistic health, environment and spirituality. Experimenting on a wide range of food ingredients and creating new favors spark joy in my heart. Before long, l relish in cooking and eating wholesome plant based meals, while my purpose is to share my love for plant-based foods that grow from (healthy) soils possibly with every kind soul who’s crossed or crossing my path. I wish we can all eat to thrive.

With this intention in mind, I decided to use my voice and share my journey openly (you might take a peep at my IG @plantpowered.susannah) . Everyday I try to do something to prove nothing because the proof is in the plants. Are you powered by plants yet today?
